Man jailed in harsh Citronelle murder case – FOX10 News

MOBILE, Ala.– Mobile County Sheriff’s Workplace private investigators stated they recorded the person accused of stabbing a guy to death in Citronelle. Danny Ray Riordan was found dead in his house on Brown Blankinchip Roadway with 60 stab injuries to his upper torso on Wednesday, August 5.

Good friends of Riordan told detectives they last had contact with him on Saturday, August 1.

Investigators said they followed pointers and spoke with several individuals and identified that Rolando Garza eliminated Riordan. Captain Paul Burch said Garza was born in Texas and resided in Colorado and has a criminal history in both places.

Garza appeared prior to a judge Thursday morning where he was denied bond. As Garza was resulted in jail, he stated that his sweetheart was coerced into informing investigators that he was responsible for the stabbing.

“They just pushed my woman into saying what they desired her to say,” Garza said.

Garza is charged with murder.
