Over the holiday weekend, Mobile Cops were contacted us to a number of homes and cars that had been shot into. Detectives have not said if any of the incidents are linked.
Friday, July 3, 10:08 a.m.:
MPD said a couple and their one-year-old kid were on Patridge Street when someone in an automobile behind them began firing. The guy was shot in the leg and required to the medical facility for treatment. Officer said they found numerous bullet holes in the automobile.
Friday, July 3, 10:28 a.m.: MPD stated the victims were driving on Michigan Street at Duval Street when someone in another car stood through a sunroof and started shooting at them. One victim was grazed by a bullet and dealt with. Officers determined the gunman as 20-year-old Trenteon King. He was arrested on charges of attack and shooting into an occupied car. Cops said King had actually been out on bond for a 2016 murder charge.

A woman informed authorities she found a bullet hole in her house on Grove Street.
Saturday, July 4, 12:54 a.m.:
bullet hole in a parking lot at the house. Saturday, July 4, 2 a.m.: A male was driving near Theodore Dawes Road at Highway 90 when he said he cut off another automobile. The man told authorities he rolled down his window at a red light to ask forgiveness when the other driver started shooting. He was struck by bullet fragments but not seriously injured.
Saturday, July 4, 2:30 p.m.:
Cops said a witness saw two males arguing on South Ann Street when among them fired a rifle at the other. The bullet his a house in the area. No injuries were reported.
Saturday, July 4, 9:48 p.m.:
Officers were contacted us to Farnell Lane after someone stated fireworks were fired into their house. Police figured out that your house has been struck with celebratory shooting.
