BendPak revealed it is opening a new 100,000-square-foot warehouse near Mobile, Ala., to better serve clients in the eastern U.S.

The administrative and shipping complex, which is expected to be totally operational within 60 days, is located in Theodore, just a short drive from the broadening Port of Mobile. The brand-new center has simple access to three major interstates and 5 Class I railroads, assisting BendPak to deliver items same-day or next-day to more customers in the eastern half of the country.
“Opening the Mobile warehouse represents our continued commitment to being the market leader and best at serving our clients. Part of that commitment means minimizing shipment times,” stated Don Henthorn, president and founder of BendPak. “This new center brings our products geographically closer to our customers, and that makes a big distinction.”
The brand-new storage facility will stock all of BendPak’s popular products including its Ranger, QuickJack and Autostacker brands. A future training facility will consist of a classroom and totally appointed service bay to use customers a convenient choice for quality technical training on BendPak’s broadening product lines.

The brand-new distribution center is strategically situated in Mobile County, Ala., permitting easy access to I-65, I-10, I-165 and Highway 43. Located in the heart of one of America’s largest logistic hotspots, the brand-new satisfaction operation will use next-day or two-day shipment to a big share of BendPak’s consumer base on the East Coast. BendPak’s head office and distribution multiplex in Santa Paula, Calif., will continue using shipping and order fulfilment services to around 15 western states. BendPak prepares to continue its growth efforts in order to improve geographical shipping advantages.

BendPak’s new warehouse features a 3,600-square-foot administrative office, 15 dock doors, 2 large-scale ramp doors, damp pipe lawn sprinkler and LED lighting. A 24-foot clear ceiling height will enable a variety of racked and floor storage alternatives.
