TUSCALOOSA, Ala.– Alabama Athletics will transition to mobile-only ticketing and parking, allowing contactless entry into all locations beginning with the 2020 football season. The shift to mobile-only ticketing will offer a much safer environment for fans, along with help defend against the production of fraudulent tickets.
The following products will be released by means of mobile shipment:
- Season tickets
- Home single video game tickets
- Neutral website tickets
- Away video game tickets
- Parking passes
Purchasers will receive their tickets by means of e-mail, allowing them to download tickets into their Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Google Pay Wallet (Android). Prior to reaching evictions, ticketholders will open their digital wallet, select video game tickets and hold their mobile phone near the scanner.
Season ticketholders (omitting UA faculty/staff and trainees) will still have the capability to publish tickets on StubHub, the official fan-to-fan market of Alabama Sports, or transfer tickets to a buddy, in the event they are unable to attend. Information regarding capability at all Alabama house events will be determined at a later date.
Parking passes released by the Alabama Sports TIDE PRIDE/Ticket Workplace will, too, be provided through mobile delivery following the very same process as tickets and will also enable transfer.
Print-at-home tickets (PDF copies) will no longer be readily available as we focus on contactless entry into the stadium. Similarly, mobile tickets are just valid when presented on a smartphone. Printed copies of QR codes will not be accepted.
Those that do not have a smartphone can call the Alabama Athletics TIDE PRIDE/Ticket Workplace in advance of game day for alternatives at 205-348-2262 or email@example.com!.?.!.
