Mobile County tape-recorded 532 brand-new coronavirus cases because the other day, as Alabama’s total number of cases climbed to more than 88,000. The Alabama Department of Public Health’s Aug. 2 10 a.m. numbers reveal an increase of 2,031 cases given that yesterday, bringing the state’s total to 88,811. The state’s death toll from COVID-19 climbed 23 to 1,576.
Mobile County saw the biggest boost in the state, adding 532 cases overnight. The enormous boost came after the county included 382 cases the previous day, bringing its two-day overall to 914.
